Whole-slide image datasets with clinical data
Build an oncology dataset from more than 100,000 H&E whole-slide images across 30,000 donors, linked to anonymized clinical records and archived FFPE tissue. Select cases by tumor type, treatment and available outcomes for computational pathology and translational research.

Matched images, clinical data and FFPE tissue

Each whole-slide image connects to a donor record and the FFPE block used to prepare the slide.
Our repository brings together tissue from medical centers in the UK, Italy and France, in-house H&E scanning, and clinical records covering treatment, response and survival.
We review the available images, clinical and molecular records, and remaining tissue together when assembling your cohort.
Select cohorts for computational pathology research
Select H&E image datasets around the cancer indication, treatment context and clinical information your research requires.
PRE-DEFINED COHORTS
Pre-designed cohorts
Start with pre-designed cohorts defined by cancer indication, disease stage and biomarker or treatment profile. Examples include:
- Breast cancerTNBC across stages; cohorts before or after CDK4/6 treatment
- Colorectal cancerdMMR/MSI-H or MSS disease; left-sided KRAS/NRAS/BRAF wild-type cohorts
- Gastric / GEJ cancerCLDN18.2-expressing advanced or metastatic adenocarcinoma
- NSCLCEGFR exon 20 insertion or treatment-naïve ROS1-positive disease
- Ovarian cancerBRCA-defined, recurrent and platinum-response cohorts
- Prostate cancerPSMA-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer
Matching images, available tissue and required clinical fields are reviewed for your requested cohort.
BUILT TO YOUR PROTOCOL
Custom cohort design
Build a cohort around your study protocol, with configurable clinical and molecular selection criteria:
- Indication
- Stage
- Treatment line
- Biomarkers
- Follow-up
Clinical data linked to each case
Anonymized donor records connect images with available clinical and molecular data.
Breadth of donor profiles
Select the patient-level fields needed for your dataset; coverage varies by donor and collection.

Records are fully anonymized. Available fields vary by donor and reflect clinical practice at the source center. Cohorts are selected to meet your project’s requirements.
H&E image specifications & pathology review
In-house scanning, pathology review and documented image formats.
Hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) slides are scanned in our laboratory using Aperio whole slide scanners.
Our pathologists review the H&E slides and corresponding digital images for quality and suitability for research.
Images are provided as Aperio .svs files for use with compatible digital pathology viewers and image analysis software.
Samples are collected with informed consent and ethics approval in the UK, Italy and France. Clinical records are anonymized.
Define your pathology image dataset
Align the cohort, linked records and image requirements.
01 · Cohort selection
Cases that fit your research
Specify the cancer indication, number of donors, tissue type and relevant treatment or biomarker criteria. Identify the response, survival or follow-up fields essential to your study. We review matching images, available records and remaining FFPE tissue together.
Explore FFPE cohort profiles02 · Labels & annotations
Define the information you need
Clinical labels describe the donor or case, such as diagnosis, treatment and recorded outcomes. Image annotations identify regions or structures within a slide. Tell us which labels, region annotations or quantitative measurements your project requires so we can review the scope and any additional work.

Plan for your workflow
Our H&E images are scanned at 40× and supplied in Aperio .svs format. Share your software compatibility, image-quality and linked-data requirements, along with your intended research use. Dataset access, delivery and permitted use can then be discussed for your project.
Available clinical fields, molecular results and source tissue vary by donor and collection. Annotation and analysis requirements are reviewed separately for each project.
